What do I do?
I gather, teach, disclose and promote the basic measurements for accessibility through the MANUAL A City for All. I sensitize the individuals who work in the public and the private sectors on the importance of regulating and adopting as compulsory the basic measurements of accessibility, with the aim of creating a change of awareness that has social impact, among others, through the different massive means of communication, such as newspapers, radio and television.
Our goal
A City for All is a city where there are no two types of citizens: those who see, hear, and walk freely and those who cannot see, hear or walk without help. A City for Everyone is a city where, as citizens, we all have the same rights; a city where we know that what is useful for those who have special needs is useful for everyone. Our goal is to achieve that individuals in any corner of Colombia feel they are part of A City for Everyone.
What is Accessibility?
Accessibility is the real possibility for disabled individuals to have an autonomous and free life. It comprises an including and sustainable design, which does not generate additional costs and that, must be integrated in all physical, public and private spaces, so that permanent or temporary disabled individuals may have access to them and enjoy the activities performed therein. It is the creation of affable spaces so that individuals with reduced mobility or sensory limitations may participate in public life in equally, without having to carry out additional efforts that are unattainable in some cases.
Where is accessibility necessary?
Everywhere.

For example, it is necessary in spaces of public use, such as sidewalks, squares, parks, bridges, etc., as well as in governmental buildings and in those in which citizens have access to public services. It is necessary in places such as houses, workplaces, hospitals, schools, universities and all those in which the essential rights are exercised.

Accessibility is also necessary in spaces where recreation, amusement and consumption activities are carried out, such as stadiums, theaters, restaurants, stores and shopping malls, museums, concert halls, among many others.

To be able to move from one place to another, accessibility in transport is essential. The adaptation of buses, parking places, automobiles, airplanes and other means of transport, as well as the different stations and terminals where they are located is essential.
